As a Civil Engineer, you'll join the Engineering, Assurance and Compliance team, supporting the technical governance and assurance of civil engineering activities across a large, complex site. You'll contribute to safe operations, regulatory compliance, asset management and long-term infrastructure improvement. You'll also be supported by a team of highly skilled engineers who collaborate closely to solve problems and drive engineering excellence. In this role, you will: Support compliance with statutory and regulatory civil engineering requirements Assist in resolving complex technical problems within infrastructure projects Review civil engineering design submissions to ensure alignment with design intent Communicate proactively with engineering and project teams to identify issues and develop solutions Contribute to improving technical competence within the team Assess and present asset condition information to asset owners Support updates to Asset Management Plans and strategic improvement programmes Liaise with project stakeholders to support on-time project delivery This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where your technical input directly affects infrastructure performance and long-term planning. What you'll bring To be successful as a Civil Engineer, you will need: Degree in Civil Engineering 2 years' experience in a civil engineering discipline Experience working within a regulated or infrastructure environment Understanding of statutory and regulatory civil engineering requirements Experience conducting civil surveys and producing reports Working knowledge of relevant UK standards Ability to analyse problems, communicate clearly and support multi-disciplinary teams Desirable: Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working toward Membership of a relevant technical institution Health & Safety training (e.g. IOSH, SMSTS) Eligibility for UK Security Clearance Who you are You're collaborative, analytical and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
