Head of Southern Operations
Location: South of England, United Kingdom
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum, plus car allowance or company vehicle and a performance-related bonus scheme

Are you an accomplished and resilient leader of people, ready to oversee a high-value, multi-site operation with the ability to implement a real strategic and operational approach? We have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to manage a well-established regional portfolio worth approximately £5 million per year, with teams delivering services across retail, care and public spaces.
Reporting directly into the National Operations Director, you will lead with vision and drive to ensure the seamless delivery of service excellence, strong client relationships, and commercial performance.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of multi-site contracts, providing strategic oversight and operational excellence
* Act as a trusted partner to clients, building strong, long-term relationships
* Inspire and manage a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional and personal development
* Oversee financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
* Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and industry regulations
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and service enhancement
Key Requirements
* Demonstrable senior leadership experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, facilities, or similar operational sectors
* Strong expertise in managing complex, multi-site contracts and delivering commercial results
* Excellent accounting, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities
* A strong commercial mindset with a focus on client relationship management and continuous service improvement
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
* Full clean UK driving licence
