Salary: £95,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in a senior or lead data science role Strong hands-on skills in Python and SQL Solid experience with Machine Learning, AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs) Previous people management experience (ideally managing Analysts/Data Scientists) Ability to implement and improve data science processes and workflows Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working in a fast-paced, agile tech environment Must be UK-based and eligible to work without sponsorship Responsibilities: As the Lead Data Scientist, I will take ownership of a small but growing data team, currently consisting of two Analysts and one Data Scientist. I will report directly to the CTO and will be responsible for shaping the data science strategy, implementing scalable processes, and delivering impactful insights across the business. My role will involve working hands-on with machine learning, AI, and LLMs to solve complex problems, while also mentoring my team and engaging with senior stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals.
