This role partners closely with HR and L&D Business Partners to deliver consistent, high-quality people experiences that align with our culture and support strategic workforce goals. From recruitment and onboarding to policy support, learning logistics, and employee relations guidance, you'll help turn strategy into action — supporting managers, maintaining best-practice standards, and ensuring our people processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment logistics: advertising, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and issuing contracts
* Ensure a smooth and consistent onboarding experience by managing systems, checklists, and induction packs
* Partner with managers to track recruitment progress and readiness to onboard
Business Partner Support
* Act as the primary coordination point for Business Partners across HR and L&D
* Assist in implementing strategic people initiatives such as workforce planning, DEI programmes, and talent development projects
* Provide operational support across people products and services
Employee Relations & Policy
* Provide informal guidance and first-line advice on performance, conduct, sickness absence, and flexible working
* Support and coach managers through early-stage employee issues in line with policy and company values
* Attend formal HR meetings as HR support and note-taker, escalating where appropriate
Learning & Development Coordination
* Support the delivery of training programmes: scheduling, invites, room bookings, and post-session evaluations
* Assist in sourcing L&D opportunities and managing funding applications
* Track training records and maintain compliance with required learning
Data & Reporting
* Maintain accurate records in HR systems (e.g. starters, leavers, payroll updates)
* Prepare talent dashboards and monthly reports to support business partner decision making
* Monitor trends in absence, recruitment, and engagement to provide actionable insights
General HR Administration
* Support annual HR cycles: salary reviews, policy updates
* Ensure all documentation and files meet data protection and audit standards
* Deputise for the HR Business Partner or L&D BP when needed
Requirements
* Proven experience in an HR coordination or generalist role
* Understanding of HR processes and employment legislation
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
