Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Vet Surgeon specializing in Small Animal to join our team in Coseley, West Midlands. This is a locum position starting on the 7th of October 2024 and ending on the 13th of October 2024, with 5 days per week. The successful candidate will provide top‑notch care to our patients in a supportive and well‑equipped environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering high‑quality veterinary care to small animals in accordance with the best practices of veterinary medicine.
* Diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, ensuring patient safety and well‑being.
* Communicating effectively with pet owners, providing them with guidance on preventive care and treatment plans.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
* Collaborating with veterinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications and Skills
* Veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
* Current licence to practice as a veterinarian in the UK.
* Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills, with experience in small animal care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Shift Patterns
* Monday: 09:00 – 17:30
* Tuesday: 09:00 – 17:30
* Wednesday: 09:00 – 17:30
* Thursday: 09:00 – 17:30
* Friday: 09:00 – 17:30
Pay
Rate: £24/hour
Pay Type: Umbrella Co
