We are working with a local authority in the South, supporting them recruit an Interim Senior Manager for Facilities Management.
This person will be responsible for managing the Council’s corporate, operational, and commercial estate, including all day-to-day operations, responsive and preventative maintenance, and associated running costs. The role ensures the estate is safe, legally compliant, meets all regulatory requirements, and supports the operational needs of service users, while being managed effectively and efficiently.
The postholder will also oversee the Health and Safety Compliance System, carrying out audits and inspections of buildings and related works to ensure compliance with required standards. Additionally, they will be responsible for communicating and implementing national and corporate regulations and policies across the estate.
