We're looking for full-time and part-time Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistants to join our partnered school part of the Cabot Learning Federation Trust in the Brockworth area. You will be working with pupils aged 11-16 who need consistent, compassionate support to succeed in their education.
Responsibilities
* Supporting students with SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties, both in and out of the classroom
* Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and understood
* Helping students regulate emotions and develop coping strategies
* Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour support plans
* Using a trauma-informed approach to de-escalate challenging situations
* Supporting outreach activities and off-site learning when needed
What we’re looking for
* Experienced in working with children or young people with SEMH and behavioural needs
* Calm, patient, and confident in managing challenging behaviour
* Able to build trust and rapport quickly
* Resilient and ready to adapt to changing situations
* A good communicator with a nurturing, consistent approach
* Able to drive and willing to obtain business insurance for outreach work
