We are seeking a Senior Sous Chef aspiring to be Head Chef f to join our independent restaurant & bar in Chobham, No.15 Restaurant & Bar in Chobham,. Established for over 6 years under independent ownership, we have a growing reputation as one of the best dining destinations in Surrey.
Experience in fresh food kitchens is required to deliver our creative menu style and kitchen management. Some rosette experience is desirable but not essential.
All applicants with relevant Sous, Senior Sous or Head Chef experience are welcome and must have a valid right to work in the UK.
Salary from £45,000 to £55,000 per year depending on experience, based on a 48 hours week over 5 days with Mondays & Tuesday off and Sundays off on a rotation basis.
THE ROLE:
This is a 5 chef brigade serving seasonal British cuisine, focused on fresh quality ingredients.
Working in a modern kitchen, managing the kitchen set up, food standards, brigade and kitchen logistics.
Our menu follows a British seasonal structure along side a strong focus on nose to tail cooking.
The Kitchen team is responsible for the preparation of all menu items in house, including butchery of whole carcasses, fresh fish & seafood sourced direct from the best suppliers.
All pastry work done on site including breads.
EXPERIENCE:
This position requires an experienced Chef who is confident in all aspects of cookery and has a passion for delivery exceptional standards and consistency with patience, passion and professionalism.
The Head Chef will manage the smooth running of the kitchen, open communication with colleagues and sharing their food knowledge with colleagues.
