Div h3 Job Summary /h3 p Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead nursing, midwifery and allied health professional services across the Trust and the wider BSW Hospitals Group. The role is an 18 month fixed term contract or secondment, based in Salisbury, with a senior managerial pay scale (VSM). The successful candidate will contribute to strategic decision making, represent the Trust at national forums and drive safe, high quality, patient centred care. /p h3 Responsibilities /h3 ul li Provide strategic, professional leadership to all nursing, midwifery and AHP staff. /li li Champion delivery of safe, high quality, compassionate care and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. /li li Lead organisational improvement programmes, including service redesign and implementation of change. /li li Represent the Trust at board level and national nursing forums. /li li Advocate for staff wellbeing, professional development and effective teamwork. /li /ul h3 Qualifications /h3 ul li Registered nurse or midwife with current NMC registration. /li li MSc or equivalent academic qualification. /li li Direct senior nursing management experience in an acute care setting. /li /ul h3 Experience /h3 ul li Extensive leadership and managerial experience capable of immediate impact. /li li Demonstrated experience redesigning and improving services, leading successful change programmes. /li li Inspirational leadership style, empowering others and driving patient care excellence. /li li Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills. /li li Ability to build and lead high performing, collaborative teams. /li /ul h3 Knowledge /h3 ul li In depth knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards and regulatory environment. /li li Strong command of the Hygiene Code and infection prevention & control leadership. /li li Knowledge of healthcare modernisation and proven track record leading major change initiatives. /li /ul h3 Contract Details /h3 p Fixed term contract of 18 months, full time (VSM pay scale).
