This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of clients, deliver high-level advisory services, and play a key role in developing the firm’s tax offering.
The Role
As Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance and advisory work for a diverse range of clients, while also supporting the development of the team. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and have the opportunity to get involved in business development and practice growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of returns.
* Leading on complex advisory projects, including restructures, group tax planning, and transactional work.
* Providing clear, commercially focused tax advice to a wide range of businesses.
* Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing constructive feedback.
* Supporting, training, and mentoring team members to aid their professional development.
* Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value.
* Assisting with business development activity, including networking and proposals.
What We’re Looking For
* ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong corporate tax experience.
* Proven track record of managing both compliance and advisory work.
* Excellent technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
* Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
