Construction Security Technician
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Security Technician to support construction sites with security and surveillance expertise. The role involves understanding multiple construction disciplines, analyzing designs and blueprints, and implementing security measures in accordance with ICD-705 procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learn and apply principles across Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering.
2. Analyze designs and blueprints to understand structural complexities and security needs.
3. Implement technical surveillance countermeasures and adhere to ICD-705 security protocols.
4. Communicate effectively in English through detailed reports and analyses.
5. Maintain detailed daily notes and collaborate with the site security team.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years experience in construction security surveillance, countermeasures, or industrial security, including quality assurance or supervisory roles.
* At least 2 years experience providing construction services overseas for the DoD.
* TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
* High school diploma or GED.
* Completion of Department of State Construction Surveillance Technician Course SE631.
Additional Qualifications:
* Over 5 years of construction experience.
* Completion of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Training.
Other Requirements:
Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility for access to classified information.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range is $86,800 to $198,000 annually, depending on experience and organizational factors. Benefits include health, life, disability, retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, and more.
