This role is central to coordinating the overall flow of parts, integrating new product launches into existing streams, and ensuring agility and flexibility for future growth. The successful candidate will be a proven team player, able tomunicate effectively, share knowledge openly, and support colleagues across functions to drive collective success.This role requires a candidate who demonstrates a strongmitment to teamwork, openmunication, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Key Responsibilities:System-wide Logistics Planning: Develop and oversee the end-to-end logistical flow of interior parts through production, managing high variantplexity and ensuring alignment with production schedules.Integration of New Parts & Projects: Plan and coordinate the introduction of new parts into existing systems. This includes collaborating on packaging concepts and design to ensure optimal protection, space utilisation, and handling efficiency. You will ensure that new parts seamlessly fit into the existing logistics stream, supporting smooth launches and ongoing production.Long-term Capacity & Layout Planning: Support the planning of future production area moves, layout redesigns, and process changes to enhance flexibility, throughput, and responsiveness.Scenario Modelling & Simulation: Create models and simulate different scenarios, including model mix changes, to optimise throughput timing, system efficiency, and flexibility.KPI & Performance Oversight: Maintain aprehensive overview of logistics performance by managing and analysing KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting continuous process enhancement.Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with process planners, production teams, and project leaders to ensure alignment and smooth execution of logistics strategies.Support System Optimisation: Collaborate with specialists who handle daily issues, providing strategic guidance and ensuring system-wide consistency and efficiency.Team Engagement: Actively support and contribute to our collaborative culture by sharing knowledge, engaging with colleagues, and participating in cross-functional initiatives to drive collective success.What should you bring along?Educational background:
A Levels / BTEC National Diploma or equivalent in relevant subjects.Experience: Extensive experience in logistics planning, supply chain management, or production logistics, especially within high-variant environments.Technical skills: Strong skills in system modelling, KPI analysis, and simulation tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Power BI, and SAP. Familiarity with internal systems is advantageous.Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics concepts, process flow, capacity planning, and new model launches. Experience with packaging design, space optimisation, and handling concepts is highly beneficial.Skills:
Excellent strategic thinking, scenario modelling, and data analysis capabilities. Strongmunication skills and stakeholder management abilities.Teamwork: A proven team player with excellent collaboration skills, able to build strong relationships across functions, share knowledge openly, and support colleagues to achievemon goals.Additional: Self-driven with a focus on continuous improvement, future-proofing production processes, and fostering a positive, collaborative working environment.Certifications & Training: MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) training is preferred, as it is essential for analysing manual operations and setting standard times for tasks, supporting precise timing and process standardisation.SAP Skills: Proficiency in SAP Inventory and Warehouse Management is a core requirement, as it is used daily in logistics planning and execution.
