Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Site Engineer role in Aberdeen.
Our client, a well-established civil engineering and residential contractor with a strong footprint across Scotland, is seeking to appoint a Site Engineer to support ongoing substructure, roadworks, and housing developments throughout Aberdeen, Angus, and Dundee. Key Responsibilities:
* Set out and survey groundworks, drainage, and road infrastructure
* Ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings and specifications
* Monitor and report on site progress, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards
* Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve engineering issues
* Maintain site records including QA documentation, as-built drawings, and daily logs
* Assist in managing materials, plant, and labour to meet programme targets
* Support the delivery of residential plots from foundation to completion
What You Bring:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil and residential projects
* Strong understanding of substructure, roads, and groundworks engineering
* Proficiency in setting out using GPS and total station equipment
* HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across project locations
