About the role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons
* Provide effective 1:1 and small group support, particularly for students with additional needs
* Utilize your qualifications and training to encourage positive behaviour and learning outcomes
* Support students' academic progress and social development
* Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and supervision during lessons, breaks, and lunchtimes
Person specification:
* NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working with young people in a Secondary school setting
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and adolescent development
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
* A proactive, confident, and caring approach to supporting young people's learning
