Role Overview:
As a Technical Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving new business growth across FluidOne's multi-pillar offerings. Reporting to the Head of Sales and based in our brighton office, you'll identify, pursue, and close new client opportunities while also cross-selling and up-selling into a portfolio of existing accounts.
This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone highly motivated, target-driven, and tech-savvy, with a passion for delivering value through tailored IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with existing customers through regular review meetings.
* Respond promptly to customer enquiries and sales requests.
* Achieve monthly new business targets.
* Maintain accurate CRM records of all customer interactions, enquiries, and opportunities to support smooth communication and reporting.
* Proactively follow up on leads, opportunities, and referrals.
* Collaborate with internal sales administration and technical teams to progress orders.
Requirements:
* Strong communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Technical IT background (e.g. support/engineering) with a desire to move into sales.
* Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent people, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Flexible, proactive, and collaborative team player.
* Friendly, outgoing personality with a professional approach.
* Well organised with strong time management.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Degree in IT, Business, or related discipline.
* Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or similar.
* Previous experience in both technical support and customer-facing roles.
* Familiarity with CRM and sales tools.
* Knowledge of IT services such as cloud, security, and managed services.
