Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young learners every day?
We are currently seeking compassionate, resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Trafford. These roles involve supporting students with a variety of additional needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
* Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to implement EHCPs
* Support pupils in developing social skills, independence, and confidence
* Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or youth work background)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Team Teach, or a TA qualification) – desirable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
