Account Manager - B2B Sales | £30,000-£35,000 Bonus | Runcorn We’re looking for a commercially minded and relationship-driven Account Manager to join a growing B2B business based in Runcorn. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys developing client relationships, driving account growth, and delivering first-class customer service. You’ll manage a portfolio of existing clients, acting as their key contact, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of B2B customer accounts Build strong, long-term client relationships to drive retention and satisfaction Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts Handle inbound queries via phone, email, and live chat with professionalism and urgency Process customer orders and liaise with logistics to ensure accurate and timely deliveries Generate new sales opportunities from non-active accounts and inbound leads Provide monthly reporting on account performance and growth Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics to ensure customer needs are met What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in account management, B2B sales, or customer success Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong sales instincts with experience in upselling and cross-selling Highly organised with great attention to detail Confident using CRM systems (experience with Pipedrive or Sage is a bonus) Proactive, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented Some understanding of logistics or stock management processes is desirable Benefits: Salary: £25,000-£28,000 DOE Uncapped Commission 25 days holiday bank holidays Ongoing training and development Friendly and supportive team culture If you're ready to take the next step in your account management career with a company that values initiative, collaboration, and customer satisfaction — apply today!
