Job Title: Product Manager – Water Supply Systems
Location: West Sussex, RH10, Crawley
Department: Technical
Reports to: Specification Director
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: £42,000 - £55,000
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical expertise and support for Water Supply System products, including specification documentation.
2. Manage product group sales targets and growth strategies in line with business objectives.
3. Support customers and internal teams with product selection, installation guidance, and system design.
4. Ensure product compliance with legislation, market requirements, and relevant approvals.
5. Maintain accurate technical data and documentation to support sales and specifications.
6. Collaborate with Marketing to develop and approve technical content.
7. Deliver technical training internally and externally, including practical certification sessions.
8. Provide guidance on installation, fixings, and supports, including site testing.
9. Assist in specification sales efforts, including CPD creation and client visits.
10. Investigate and resolve product issues, including root cause analysis and reporting.

Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience:
18. Strong knowledge of mechanical/plumbing products, materials, and systems
19. Experience with system design and technical drawings
20. Ability to manage technical documentation and electronic files
21. Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
22. Willingness to travel for external meetings
23. Understanding of the specification market and sales processes
Desirable:
24. Experience with Press Fit Systems and installation practices
25. Familiarity with fixings, supports, and site testing
