Location & Duration
Milton Keynes, GB – The role is based in The Quadrant: MK and you must live within 75 minutes. Duration: 10‑month Year in Industry Placement. Salary: £21,840.
Responsibilities
* Researching and writing case studies and guidance notes for the wider business.
* Supporting awareness activities and offering technical support.
* Researching standards and compliance updates, collecting and analysing data.
* Supporting the business to maintain its environmental compliance obligations.
Entry Requirements
You will be in your penultimate year at university, looking for a year‑in‑industry placement and on track to achieve at least a 2:2 in your degree. Ideally you study in one of the following areas:
* Environmental management / science
* Environment and/or sustainability policy / law
* Geography / climate change and society / global development
* Biodiversity, ecology and/or conservation
* Renewable energy / sustainable resource management
Who We Are Looking For
Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to influence decision‑making and work effectively in a team. Attention to detail, a proactive approach to organising tasks, events, and people, and openness to challenge the status quo are essential. Familiarity with IT applications like Excel and PowerBI and experience in data analysis and creating communication materials are a plus.
