We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health Service as a Receptionist/Administrator (Data focused).
Working as part of Middlesbrough council, our service supports people with substance use issues. We are looking for an organised, proactive, detail-orientated Admin/ Receptionist to join our busy team.
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and reception support, with a strong focus on data processes; ensuring information is well organised, ensuring spreadsheets and systems are maintained to required standards, supporting operational practice through reliable data handling, and preparing routine information outputs for reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Good numeracy, literacy, and keyboard skills
Experience in clerical, administrative, or financial tasks
Experience providing admin support within customer‑focused services
Effective use of ICT packages and office equipment
Confident use of Excel, including general functions such as maintaining spreadsheets, filtering and sorting information, using tables, and producing simple summaries.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice and legislation
Commitment to Equality and Diversity
Desirable:
Level 2 Admin qualification or equivalent experience
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as well as access to your own vehicle and business insurance in place prior to starting if you don’t already have this. We will not be able to proceed with any applicants that don’t have this.
