Grounds Maintenance Team Leaders
Hourly Rate: £13.Contract type: Permanent
Monday-Friday 7:00-16:00
We are looking for someone who can lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality grounds maintenance services across multiple sites, managing a number of operational teams. The role involves day-to-day team leadership, planning and allocating work, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Team Leadership & Coordination - supervising and managing grounds maintenance teams along with training, coaching and mentoring new members.
Operational Delivery - ensuring all work is done to specification/schedule, conducting site visits to inspect quality, and identifying any issues
Health & Safety Compliance - ensuring all work aligns with company policies and risk assessments, carrying out vehicle/equipment checks and reporting/investigating incidents.
Planning & Reporting - maintaining accurate records, assisting with route planning and scheduling, and providing weekly progress reports to management.
Previous experience in a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of horticultural and grounds maintenance practices.
Full UK driving licence (towing license desirable).
