Job Overview

Ideal Candidate Location: M1 Corridor between Sheffield and Leicester, with Nottingham and Derby offering the perfect central base.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting Pasta King's growth ambitions, driving the expansion and development of our client base within a defined business territory. This includes:

* Maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers
* Prospecting and acquiring profitable new business
* Collaborating with our National Accounts team to manage key national partners in your area
* Ensuring effective use and management of all Pasta King commercial equipment across your customer base

This is a field-based role, ideally suited to someone located within the M1 Corridor region for optimal access to our customer network.

Responsibilities

· Identify and win new business e.g. in business, industry, food courts etc..

· Maintain and grow business within Local Education Authority's, regional caterers, Multi Academy trusts, directly with schools, NHS Trusts and leisure and other target sectors.

· Increasing existing customer spend by promoting the diversity of the pasta sauce options to chef's/kitchen managers e.g.: promoting new ideas to use current product range in wraps, rice, pizza etc..

· Deliver effective launches working alongside the kitchen staff, providing training and advice during the launch and follow up to ensure success.

· Provide advice and recommendations regarding Pasta King serving equipment e.g. Pasta Bars, Trolleys etc., required for each location.

· Initiate pricing and rate reviews that are in the best interest of the company.

· Provide management reports on progress for existing and prospective new clients.

· Attend exhibitions, sales meetings and training as required.

· Maintain awareness of Food Sector developments – channelling key trends into the business. Demonstrate strong industry awareness to customers.

· Development of formal quotations.

Skills

- Minimum 3 years' experience of selling and delivering new business

* Experience within the food industry is essential, either in food service, hospitality, food manufacturing or food supply chain

* Excellent presentation skills with good customer engagement.
