This 17th-century home set in six acres of beautiful woodland accommodates approximately 20 residents and provides a warm, person-centred environment where staff are supported to deliver high-quality, tailored care to each individual. The service has strong links with the local community, with transport via local bus services and taxis, keeping residents connected to the town. The home offers long-term, short-term, respite, and holiday care, with a dedicated team focused on maintaining residents’ rights and wellbeing 24 hours a day. The Role As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily needs, promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. Key responsibilities include: Providing personal care and assistance with mobility and daily routines Supporting residents with meals and hydration Encouraging social and emotional wellbeing Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment Observing and reporting any changes in residents’ condition Driving residents when required and supporting local community outings A caring, patient, and reliable approach is essential, as is the ability to drive.
