To provide sound technical service to customers regarding the quality and application of paint, ensuring all parties understand and agree on painting requirements, and to contribute to commercial activities in coordination with the Sales Team to grow the business in the region.
Key responsibilities
* Advise on paint specifications, provide recommendations for preparation and application, and conduct inspections to ensure paint is applied under acceptable conditions and according to specifications.
* Stay updated on new product technologies and developments.
* Assist Sales in introducing new products to customers’ attention.
* Arrange assistance and application training for new or high-value products to meet customer needs.
* Operate modern IT technologies and company sales tools including ERS and Interplan reporting systems.
* Prepare technical coating reports as needed and be capable of discussing project scopes with such documents.
* Provide technical advice and product information upon request.
* Ensure all relevant documentation is prepared before customer meetings and project initiation.
* Complete reports accurately and promptly, maintaining a daily logbook of site and project details.
Job requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in a technical service environment.
* Experience in the shipyard or protective coatings industry is an advantage.
* Attention to detail to ensure compliance and quality.
* Ability to make independent decisions and organize own work.
* Strong customer focus and commercial awareness.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Polish and English.
* Willingness to work outdoors, mainly in shipyards, sometimes in dirty conditions.
* Travel may be required occasionally.
