Job Description
You will be supporting teams across the patch in varying capacities, from short holiday cover to longer-term project work aimed at improving food quality or service. You must be adaptable and willing to challenge normal procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting, guiding, and leading the wider Patch team across the region.
2. Covering holidays and sickness across the patch.
3. Living and breathing the BaxterStorey Ethos and supporting in igniting our Chef teams' passion.
4. Planning, preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the required standards.
5. Enhancing the company’s reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.
6. Controlling portion sizes and monitoring waste.
7. Ensuring supplies are correctly issued, used, and accounted for, including stock takes and food rotation procedures.
8. Maintaining records related to food production activities and supplier information.
9. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards in line with company policy.
10. Setting objectives and being responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
11. Assessing employee performance, recognizing training needs, and developing potential.
12. Supporting menu ideas and sharing best practices as you travel around the region.
Additionally, you will:
* Participate in regular meetings to communicate targets, standards, and company and client expectations.
