Job Description:
Delivery Centre Support Worker – Early Help – Full time, temporary cover until 31.05.2026. Salary £24,404 - £25,183 (pro-rata) per annum | Grade 4.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for children, young people, and families who contact or access our Family Hubs and centres.
* Be a contact for multi-agency partners who work with our service.
* Have a good level of IT knowledge and be able to use varied computer programmes, including Microsoft Office and our Early Help Management Information system.
* Answer calls, deal with enquiries, complete room booking requests, and manage group work referrals and waiting lists.
* Help ensure buildings offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere and are well maintained.
* Work with the Neighbourhood and Community team to set up rooms for meetings, courses, and groups; liaise with facilities management regarding maintenance or repair issues.
* You may work across various centres within the district.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Good level of IT knowledge and ability to use varied computer programmes, including Microsoft Office and the Early Help Management Information system.
* DBS disclosure required.
* Disqualification for Caring for Children (DCCR) verification required.
* Car user is desirable – travel across the District of Preston.
