What does the role involve?
Your main responsibility will be to lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with accurate assessments and ensuring their care and wellbeing needs are met. You will manage the HCPs, ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately. Acting as management, you will work as part of an integrated team with the Clinical Lead and Senior Lead to ensure that local processes follow National Clinical Governance Standards and the specific needs of the Force.
Requirements:
1. You'll be a qualified RN Adult, RMN (with dual registration), RGN, or Paramedic.
2. Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience and 2 years post-qualification experience in areas such as General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service.
3. 3 years UK residency.
4. Current manual driving license with no restrictions, as travel to other custody suites or hospitals may be required.
5. All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.
