About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for you to support us in our ongoing development of a model of Trafford Family Help. As a Trafford Families Lead with responsibility for Family Hubs and Trafford Team Together (our approach to Team around the School) you will work in a geographical neighbourhood. Working collaboratively with partners you will be influential in how we shape services that deliver the right support at the right time for the families in that neighbourhood. Through a family help model that uses the least intrusive approaches you will be committed to safely ensuring children grow up in an environment where they are safe, happy, have positive and secure relationships and are able to fulfil their true potential
About you
You will bring significant experience in managing and developing staff alongside working collaboratively with partners to deliver high quality services to children and families in Trafford. You will have experience of working either in a education settings or in close partnership with education providers. Your style and approach will provide strong leadership, respecting and valuing others’ contributions. You will ensure that children, young people and families are at the Centre of both service development and delivery, delivering in communities for communities, with knowledge of restorative and relational approaches to practice.
You will bring excellent interpersonal skills and an ability work in complex situations with a solution focussed approach, with a determination to improve quality of life outcomes for children, young people and families.

* DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
* Social Work England registration
* Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.

* Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
