Lead, coach and develop a team of 10 engineers across days and nights Drive standards, motivate your people, and hold them accountable Deliver engineering support & maintenance in line with KPIs and budgets Manage contractors and own supplier relationships Push continuous improvement, compliance, and safety – nothing less than best practice will do What you’ll need Solid track record as an Engineering Manager (not a deputy, not an “acting” role – the real deal) Experience in high-volume manufacturing/production – laundry is great, but not essential Proven people leadership skills – tough when needed, supportive always Budget management and a history of delivering improvements Technical qualifications (mechanical/electrical/controls) MEWP/FLT/IPAF, Six Sigma/5S/Kaizen, IOSH/NEBOSH Strong comms, IT literacy, and full eligibility to work in the UK What’s on the table £65,000 salary (flat) 5% pension 25 days holiday bank holidays Life Assurance, EAP, Long Service Awards Training & Development opportunities This is a big role.
