About the Role
We are on the lookout for an Account Manager for the Food Channel to join our dynamic team! This is a remote position with travel opportunities across the UK & Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish, develop, and maintain effective relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business and sustain our existing partnerships.
* Deliver positive results on budgeted revenue, margin, and new business growth.
* Manage and report on your sales portfolio, building and demonstrating value for your customers to ensure a strong sales pipeline.
* Secure new sales opportunities by showcasing appropriate concepts based on market trends and customer needs.
* Ensure that any Joint Business Plans (JBP) or contracts are collaborative documents that meet sales, profit, and brand objectives.
* Develop effective customer account plans to manage existing clients and target new opportunities.
* Continuously improve the customer experience.
* Construct a robust customer engagement strategy.
* Maintain expert knowledge of your customers, their competitors, and the market landscape.
* Collaborate with internal pricing and finance teams to create quotations and pricing proposals.
* Keep SFDC (cloud-based CRM system) updated with key sales opportunities and call reports.
* Work cross-functionally with the broader Kerry Sales, RD&A, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
* Coordinate with Demand Planning to ensure accurate customer sales forecasts are reflected in the business sales forecast.
Qualifications and Skills

* Previous experience in a food sales environment (ideally in B2B/Retail or Foodservice channels).
* Strong communication skills.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
