Brothers Drinks Co. Ltd is a leading name in the beverage industry, producing high-quality drinks for customers across the UK and beyond. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Process Operative to join our team and support the blending and production of our iconic beverages.
The Role
As a Process Operative, you'll be responsible for dissolving and blending ingredients, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting smooth production processes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, safe working practices, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Testing and analysing products to ensure quality standards
* Loading and offloading road tankers
* Weighing and lifting ingredients (including 25kg sugar bags)
* Dissolving granular powders (sugar, citric acid, malic acid) using plant machinery
* Cleaning tanks, equipment, and product lines (CIP)
* Maintaining accurate production and stock records using Microsoft D365
* Transferring beverages to filling lines, ensuring CCPs and quality procedures are followed
* Ensuring correct stock rotation and maintaining a clean storage area
* Handling chemicals safely, using PPE, and following COSHH guidelines
* Supporting waste management processes (operation of waste baler and bins)
* Carrying out general cleaning duties to maintain GMP standards
What We're Looking For:
* Educated to secondary school level or equivalent
* Good literacy, numeracy, and computer skills (MS Office experience preferred)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Adaptable, self-motivated, and reliable
* Ideally, previous experience in manufacturing (food and beverage industry a plus)
* Forklift certification is an advantage (training will be provided if not held)
* Willingness to work shifts (double days and rotating shifts, including nights)
* Comfortable with manual handling (lifting up to 25kg) and working at height
