Town Planner Telford – hybrid £40,000 – £45,000 comprehensive benefits We’re looking for a talented and commercially aware Town Planner to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary consultancy headquartered in Telford. With a strong track record delivering creative, commercially driven solutions across the UK, the team works across planning, architecture, landscape, ecology, and design to help businesses thrive through place-making. The Role This is a full-time position, with a hybrid working model: 3 days per week in our client’s Telford office, and 2 days remote. You’ll work directly with clients, consultants and internal teams to deliver expert planning advice, applications and strategy support. Responsibilities include: Leading and supporting on planning applications, appraisals, pre-apps and development strategies Preparing and submitting planning statements, reports, and design and access statements Advising clients on national and local planning policy and its implications for their projects Working closely with internal design, architecture and landscape teams to provide integrated solutions Engaging with local authorities, statutory bodies and stakeholders throughout the planning process Supporting planning appeals and public consultations where required About You We’re looking for a planner who is confident working in a fast-paced, commercially driven consultancy setting and can bring a problem-solving mindset to complex planning challenges.
