Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload, completing direct work with children to understand their lived experiences.
* Undertake assessments, child protection work, CIN planning and court-related tasks.
* Chair multi-agency meetings and work collaboratively with partners to safeguard children.
* Produce high-quality assessments, reports and written evidence.
* Deliver impactful interventions that support positive change for children and families.
* Engage families early to reduce escalation and prevent children entering care.
* Apply social work theories and models to inform practice and decision-making.
* Maintain accurate, timely case records and ensure statutory compliance.
* Contribute to the development of high-quality, ambitious practice within Family Help.
Qualifications
* Qualified Social Worker with 5+ years post-qualifying experience.
* Strong safeguarding, assessment and risk-management skills.
* Confident working across CIN, CP and court work.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proven ability to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
* Court experience is essential.
