We are looking for a Stores Operative who has previous experience as a Stores Operative or in a similar role .
This is a perfect opportunity to join a company permanent basis, who can also offer on-going training & progression.
Duties of the Stores Operative will include;
Receive and inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality, ensuring they meet company standards.
Organise and store items in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area.
Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular inventory counts.
Prepare orders for distribution, including picking, packing, and labelling items.
Assist with deliveries and logistics, coordinating with transport services as needed.
Keep the storage area clean, safe, and organised, complying with health and safety regulations.
Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory shortages to management.
Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and managing inventory.
Careful recording of serial no's
Issuing & booking in production orders with our MRP system.The ideal Stores Operative applicant;
High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
Previous experience as a Store Person or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and management.
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.Pay, Hours & Benefits;
25 days plus bank holiday
37 hours per week flextime (core hours 8am - 4:45pm Mon-Thur, 8am-1pm Fri)
Matched pension contributions (upto 6%)
