Role - Technical Services ManagerBased - Ashford, TN24 0LUSalary - Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experienceShift - Monday - Friday, 08.00am - 16.00pm with flexibilityWe are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead our site hygiene and pest control function. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and pest control, while managing a team and driving continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesManage hygiene and pest control systems across the siteLead and develop the hygiene teamEnsure compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standardsPlan and oversee cleaning schedules and environmental swabbingManage hygiene-related contracts (cleaning, pest control, laundry)Carry out audits and manage non-conformancesSupport production efficiency and site operationsAct as hygiene lead during audits and customer visitsMonitor data and drive improvementsAbout YouEssential:HACCP (Intermediate level)Experience in food manufacturing or a similar roleStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of retailer standards and food safety requirementsDesirable:Degree in a relevant fieldAuditor qualificationExperience managing large teamsWorking EnvironmentMix of office and production areasPhysically active roleFlexibility required to meet business needsSkillsStrong communication and teamworkAbility to work under pressureProblem-solving and continuous improvement mindsetInfluencing and leadership skillsThe Benefits and Perks...Company PensionHoliday Purchase SchemeSharesave SchemeThe Hamper - our employee discount platformCompany ShopSubsidised canteen on siteAt Premier foods we believe in inclusion, authenticity and individuality.
