Supporting the Registered Nursing staff in the delivery of personal care and assistance for patients within University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire Trust across both sites at University Hospital Coventry & Hospital of St Cross, Rugby.
Please note the assessment centre and interviews will be held on 13 October 2025 for shortlisted candidates. Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP. Sponsorship is unable to be supported with this role.

Requirements
* Must have either Level 2 BTEC Diploma or extended Diploma or an equivalent qualification, or have previous care experience or experience in a person-centred & public facing role.
* Experience of care or working in a person-centred & public facing role, or already hold a level 2 health and social care related qualification.
Role details
Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) – Band 2 – £24,465 + enhancements. Full and Part Time posts available; salary pro rata for part time staff. Successful applicants will be placed on a waiting list until a suitable vacancy becomes available in the Trust.
Locations – Various departments across Rugby and Coventry sites, including Rugby Hospital of St Cross and UHCW facilities. Details of current vacancies are provided in the job posting.

The Recruitment Centre includes a basic literacy comprehension test, followed by assessments & interview. If successful at interview and there are no vacancies meeting your requirements, we will keep in touch and update you as jobs arise. If we are unable to allocate you to your requirements, your application may be withdrawn.
