The post holder will manage individuals with secondary mental health service needs whilst they are in prison custody. This includes assisting in the delivery and development of effective, needs-based, modern mental health services within the prison.
The post holder should be an expert in all areas of service delivery, ensuring effective communication is maintained at all times.
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the effective management of their own caseload and be expected to effectively utilise nursing skills and resources to provide high-quality service to all service users. This role requires the post holder to contribute to maintaining the CPA process throughout the legal and custodial process.
