Supplier Quality Engineer | Generous Pension | 33 Days Holiday | Early Friday Finish
A Supplier Quality Engineer opportunity with an established manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated engineering sector. With continued growth and increasing collaboration across the supply chain, the business is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen supplier performance, improve incoming quality standards and support operational reliability. Supplier Quality Engineer responsibilities include -* Managing supplier quality performance including non-conformances, corrective actions and improvement activities.* Leading root cause investigations with suppliers using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D and 5 Why.* Conducting supplier audits and supporting supplier development initiatives to improve capability and compliance.* Reviewing supplier documentation including PPAP submissions, control plans and quality records.* Working closely with internal manufacturing, engineering and procurement teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues.* Monitoring supplier KPIs and implementing improvement plans to reduce defects and improve delivery performance.
Supplier Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -* Experience in a Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer or Supplier Development role within manufacturing.* Strong knowledge of supplier quality management, corrective actions and root cause analysis.* Experience working within ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems.* Experience supporting supplier audits, supplier development or supplier performance improvement.
