Key Responsibilities
1. Advising and acting on a broad range of real estate disputes, including:
Landlord and tenant issues (lease renewals, dilapidations, rent reviews, forfeiture, and possession claims)
Easements, restrictive covenants, and boundary disputes
Property-related insolvency
Rights of light and development disputes
Property contract disputes, including option and overage agreements
2. Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
3. Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents.
4. Conducting proceedings in the County Court, High Court, and Tribunal.
5. Supporting partners on complex and strategic cases.
6. Assisting in business development activities, including networking, seminars, and marketing initiatives.
7. Keeping up to date with changes in property law and dispute resolution practice.
About You
8. Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ – 5 PQE, though other levels considered).
9. Strong grounding in property litigation gained at a recognised firm.
10. Excellent technical and drafting skills.
11. Commercial awareness with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice.
12. Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
13. A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
14. A commitment to client care and building long-term relationships.
