We are pleased to be working with an excellent client based in Elland who are looking for an ambitious assistant accountant to join the small finance team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone who is actively studying AAT (already level 2 as a minimum) who is looking for an all rounded, varied role - reporting into the financial controller within the company.
Duties include:
* Bank reconciliations
* Credit card reconciliations
* Weekly payment runs
* Matching and coding purchase invoices
* Full end to end payroll; monthly and weekly staff, including processing all expenses and bonuses
* Support HR with holidays/sickness etc
* Assist with month end duties such as accruals, prepayments and journals
* Assist the FC with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* VAT and CIS returns
* Assist with ad hoc duties within accounts.
