As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager to run the pub efficiently, lead the team, and deliver outstanding hospitality. Dating back to 1860, the Windsor Castle is a traditional pub where a warm welcome is guaranteed. Just a short walk from Carshalton High Street, it boasts a spacious bar and restaurant, with a delicious menu of home-cooked traditional pub classics and light bites on offer.
What You’ll Do
* Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing duties.
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.
* Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Contribute ideas to improve service and business performance.
