Overview

Blue Yonder is seeking a Solution Advisor responsible for engaging with potential retail customers to identify business needs, develop, and present implementation timelines, approaches, and budgets for Blue Yonder Services.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with customers during discovery sessions and follow-up discussions to ensure clear communication.

2. Support Sales and Solutions Managers during sales cycles by providing valuable insights.

3. Coordinate with Services and Marketing to develop implementation collateral and promote Blue Yonder events and trade shows.

4. Prepare thoroughly before sales engagements with internal teams to maximize efficiency.

5. Engage directly with potential customers through RFP processes.

6. Participate in short consulting assignments with customers and prospects.

7. Present product functionalities and benefits to prospective clients, customizing presentations to address their specific business needs.

8. Demonstrate how Blue Yonder solutions can add value or enhance existing business environments.

9. Articulate and demonstrate the value proposition of Blue Yonder solutions and services.

10. Establish relationships with key decision-makers to facilitate successful sales outcomes.

Qualifications

1. Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Planning principles, with 3-5 years of experience in implementing, presenting, and delivering related solutions.

2. Experience in developing business processes, strategies, and philosophies for Supply Chain Planning solutions supporting suppliers and retailers.

3. Experience working with various solution provider systems related to Supply Chain Planning.

4. Ability to quickly learn and expand into other solution areas such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, and Category Management.

5. Technical skills in Excel, Access, and SQL query writing for data analysis.

6. Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

7. Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%.
