This is an expanding and highly acquisitive IT services business based in north west London. They provide a range of support services for hundreds of clients including cybersecurity, line support, project management and hardware support.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a dynamic Accounts Payable Clerk/Specialist to join their established finance team.
Role
The Accounts Payable Clerk for this IT support services business, will work closely with the Management Accountant & Finance Director in taking ownership of the invoice processes. They will manage a high number of invoices and be the key contact for this area. They will be responsible for a number of key tasks including:
* Ensure accurate processing of a high volume of invoices (approx. 500 per month) and credit card transactions.
* Code supplier invoices across several group entities.
* Ensure all costs are authorised by the relevant party prior to payment.
* Manage queries both internally and externally, ensuring timely resolution.
* Post journal entries as required (e.g. inter-company postings).
* Process employee expense and claims.
* Analyse aged creditors reports.
* Prepare and process bi-monthly payment runs, including payment allocation.
* Maintain the finance mailbox.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Assistant Management Accountant position based in central London, should have the following attributes:
* 3+ years of experience within a similar Accounts Payable capacity
* Experience dealing with high volume of invoices
* Experience with bank reconciliations
* Confident with Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Background within the IT industry would be advantageous
* Experience with NetSuite would be advantageous

£33,000 to £36,000 plus benefits including:

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
