Job Title: Quality Sample Analyst
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
Pay Rate: £20.72 per hour
Location: Chirk (LL14 5LT)
Shifts:
Monday to Thursday 8:00 am - 4:00pm
Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Sample Collection:
Collect cocoa samples from various stages of the production process, adhering to strict safety protocols and hygiene standards.
Maintain accurate records of sample collection points and times.
Sample Processing:
Prepare and analyse samples using basic laboratory equipment, including
NIRs (Near-Infrared Spectroscopy), calibrated sieves, accurate scales, ovens, etc.
Perform analyses according to prescribed methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Data Recording:
Accurately record all data obtained from lab techniques, including relevant context, into pre-defined spreadsheets.Reporting Findings:
Communicate findings clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing (via email), to the Senior Process Engineer.Lab Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organised laboratory environment, adhering to organisational standards.Qualifications:
Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and equipment.
Understanding of GMP and hygienic sampling methods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent data entry and record-keeping skills.
Familiar with typical office software (Outlook, Excel, etc)
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
