We are looking for a PBS Practitioner for our beautiful home Autumn Leaf, in Castle Bromwich

The PBS practitioner will work closely with the people we support, colleague teams, and stakeholders to develop and deliver Positive Behaviour Support for individuals and services.
The post holder will use their expertise to support predominantly in the following areas:
* Development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support Plans including Functional Behaviour Assessment
* Practice Leadership and Practice workshops
* Incident support, analysis, and colleague debrief
* Staff training & development
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, such as BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, MSc Applied Behaviour Analysis, MA or MSc in Autism Studies, PBS Graduate Diploma, PBS BTEC Level 5 (advanced professional Diploma)
* Be qualified or willing to work towards PROACT-SCIPr-UK Instructor certification
In addition, the candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* Person-centred beliefs, values, and attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to work as part of a team in a leadership capacity, leading and influencing others positively
* An in-depth understanding of the principles of Positive Behaviour Support and Principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis
* Experience in conducting behavioural assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating interventions for individuals
* Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or Autism, and behaviours of concern
* A history of reducing the use of restrictive practices
* Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support training
* Excellent record-keeping and report writing skills
* Understanding of relevant legal frameworks and policies, such as the Mental Capacity Act (2005), DOLS, Safeguarding, and risk management
