Role Overview
We are looking for a SENCo to lead and champion inclusive practice across the nursery. The role involves hands‑on work with children, coaching practitioners, and supporting families and external professionals.
Responsibilities
* Leading SEND provision across the nursery
* Supporting children with additional needs to thrive
* Coaching practitioners on inclusive practice
* Building strong relationships with families
* Working with external professionals (health visitors, local authority, specialists)
* Managing support plans, observations and next steps
* Keeping documentation accurate and compliant
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
* Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
* SENCo qualification (desired or willing to undertake training)
* Strong understanding of EYFS, SEND and Local Authority processes
