The Governors of St Patrick’s RC High School are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our school community.
Main Purpose:
We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to oversee teaching and learning across the school, ensuring consistency when teachers are on PPA, attending in-school meetings, or absent. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction during these times and engaging pupils aged 11-16 effectively.
This role offers a challenging yet rewarding work environment within a school committed to safeguarding, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervising classes of students during short-term teacher absences.
2. Supervising work set according to school policy.
3. Liaising with teaching staff regarding lesson plans and work set.
4. Managing student behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
