As a Senior Lead Software Engineer - React/Python at JPMorganChase within the Corporate Technology team, you will serve in a leadership role by providing technical coaching and advisory for multiple agile technical teams. You will anticipate the needs and potential dependencies of other functions within the firm. As an expert in your field, your insights will influence budget and technical designs to advance operational efficiencies and functionalities.
Job responsibilities
1. Develop and enhance the technology and engineering roadmap for your team, aligning with the firm's architectural roadmap.
2. Provide technical guidance and direction, leading, coaching, and mentoring to support the business and its technical teams.
3. Create secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
4. Develop cost-effective technology solutions in line with best practices and the latest technology.
5. Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations, adhering to best practices and the architectural roadmap.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert in Front-End Applications and React across the function.
7. Actively contribute to the engineering community, advocating for firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices.
8. Influence peers and project decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
10. Formal training or certification on ReactJS software engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience
11. Advanced experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
12. Advanced experience in building greenfield application using React.
13. Hands-on exposure to Python.
14. Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages. React and Python.
15. Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more technical disciplines (., cloud, AI, machine learning, LLM).
16. Ability to independently troubleshoot design and functionality issues with minimal oversight.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
17. Experience and certification in AWS and/or Databricks.
18. Proven experience in building and designing large-scale global software solutions.
19. Experience in Data Engineering, working with big data, data warehouses, and understanding data modelling; Data Mesh Architecture and building applications using Data Mesh Architecture.
20. Familiarity with orchestration tools such as MWAA.
21. Understanding of the Capital regulatory reporting framework.
22. Experience in engineering within a regulatory-controlled environment
