Security Clearance Requirements

About the Role
We are looking for a Group Administrative Assistant to join our Shared Services function, based at our Liverpool HQ in the North West.
This role plays a key part in keeping the office and wider business running smoothly day to day. You’ll provide administrative and coordination support across Shared Services, including HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Contracts & Commercial, while also supporting front-of-house activity and office operations.
The role is primarily office-based, particularly during probation, due to front-of-house and operational responsibilities. Following the successful completion of probation, hybrid working (one day per week from home) may be available, subject to business needs.
This position requires the successful candidate to be eligible for and able to obtain UK Government Security Clearance (SC).
Key Objectives
* Provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Shared Services teams
* Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Liverpool office and front-of-house experience
* Support internal teams with scheduling, communication, travel, and event coordination
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and office systems
* Contribute to a welcoming, organised, and professional working environment

* The office runs smoothly, visitors are welcomed professionally, and issues are resolved promptly
* Shared Services teams feel supported and can rely on you for timely, accurate admin support
* Meetings, travel, and events are well organised with minimal last-minute issues

* You are trusted to manage your workload independently while knowing when to escalate
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Willingness and ability to work on-site at our Liverpool HQ
* At least 12 months relevant admin experience
* Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Clearance (SC)
* A flexible, hands-on approach to administrative work
* A professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility
Essential Experience & Skills:
* At least 12 months’ experience in an administrative, office support, or front-of-house role
* Experience coordinating meetings, diaries, or office activities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
* Experience handling confidential or sensitive information appropriately
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience supporting HR, recruitment, finance, or shared services teams
* Exposure to booking travel or coordinating events
* Familiarity with HR systems, ATS platforms, or internal business systems
* Basic knowledge of Health & Safety processes
* Interest in wellbeing, engagement, or acting as a Mental Health First Aider
