1. Monitor and update Maternity Risk register and support the senior management team with this.
2. Understanding of their role in escalation of incidents both internal and external and managing this in the absence of the Maternity Risk and Governance Manager.
3. Identify areas of excellence in learning and assist in the dissemination of best practice.

4. Registered Midwife with NMC Registration
5. Post Graduate level of education

7. Risk Management Training
Experience
Essential criteria
8. Competent in writing reports and compiling presentations
9. Ability to identify and disseminate actions, learning and recommendations to promote patient safety
Desirable criteria
10. Experience in delivering presentations
11. PSIRF training
Technical Skills Competencies

12. Requires advanced keyboard and computer skills, where accuracy is a priority
13. Requirement to use display screen equipment frequently
